Where can you look out over ISUs central campus from 110 feet in the air? We know of nowhere except Legends American Grill located on the 7th floor of the Legacy Tower at 119 Stanton Ave.

Our restaurant opened just after Thanksgiving 2004 and has been going strong ever since. The uniqueness that we offer to the community and our customers is one that goes unrivaled. From any seat inside, you have two great views...outside, the city of Ames like you have never seen before and inside, 17 high definition televisions located throughout the restaurant. We are the ideal place to watch all of your sporting events.

Aside from the spectacular view, we also offer a diversified menu of over 90 selected items of American Cuisine that are sure to please our many guests. Start off with our newly added steak quesadilla appetizer or one of our other ten appetizers. For the meat eaters, we have a variety of steak dinners, legendary ribs and big burgers. If your thing is pasta, we have five dishes that surprise you. Huge salads, fish and chicken entrees will complete everyones appetite. We will also have Ames most dedicated staff working hard to ensure a quality dining experience for our customers.

Legends is a great place to book your rehearsal dinner, birthday party, business presen-tation, Christmas party, you name it, well be ready for all your party needs. We feature two private rooms, The Skybox and the Legacy Room, either of which can be reserved to accommodate you for whatever event you would like to plan. The entire upstairs may be reserved allowing us to accommodate parties of any size up to 140 people.

Family is very important to us at Legends. Children ten years of age and younger eat for free on Sundays and any day when they come dressed in a sports uniform, for each adult menu purchase!!

For the adults we have a happy hour that runs twice daily from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM and again from 9:00 PM to close on Sunday through Thursday and 10:00 PM to close on Fridays and Saturdays.

Now, in addition to the covered parking in the building, we have added evening park-ing in the lot across the street; you can park in the south portion of the lot on the east side of Stanton. Signs in the lot will guide you to the right spots.

Our Legends American Grill has the honor of being the first location to open outside the Des Moines metro. The Legends franchise started in 1995 and is now represented in four cities in central Iowa. The chain has long been associated with sports, good drinks and great food.
